Annual Conference 2013: Creativity for Commerce
What a day. We were thrilled to share The Marketing Society's Annual Conference with you and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
From Michael Welch's revelation that Sir Terry Leahy makes a great cup of tea to Eric Whitacre's tip of breaking through a creative block with two pianos and two bottles of rum. From the power of empathy (feel their tugs) to golden bricks and the magic of The Fibonacci Sequence. From the time Mike Newell stabbed Richard Curtis with a plastic knife to three tortoises named Geoff, Jeff and Barbara (formerly known as Gary).
We're delighted to say it's not over yet. We have a smorgasbord of highlights for you - from our very own poet in residence Charlie Dupre's rap, to our editor, Elen Lewis's 10 things to the day in drawings by our live-scribe Gaz Roberts. See a taste of his creative genius below.
And there's more. Over the next few weeks in the Clubhouse, we'll be revealing exclusive interviews with the speakers, videos of the speeches and reviews of the day from different members of the society.
